The new Humboldt-Universit?t website went online this afternoon! This marks the first major milestone in the "New Website" project - a step that many at HU have been waiting a long time for.

Research

The German Research Foundation (DFG) has approved a second funding phase. Humboldt-Universit?t is involved in the Research Training Group with three researchers.

Research

Oleksandra Shumilova and Christina von Braun will be honoured with the Caroline von Humboldt Award and the Caroline von Humboldt-Professur. The award ceremony will take place on 2 December 2025.

On 22 and 23 November 2025, Humboldt-Universit?t zu Berlin's Hochschulsport, together with the German Chess Federation and the Berlin Chess Association, will once again be hosting the German University Chess Championships.
