Additional examination attempt after consultation
Previously, a failed module final examination (MFE) could generally be repeated twice. With the 22nd amendment to the ZSP-HU, the HU will implement the possibility, as included in the BerlHG with the last fundamental amendment, to take an additional attempt after participating in an examination consultation and exhausting all regular repetition attempts, effective since 21 January 2025. Before the last regular repetition attempt, the examination board will inform you about the consequences of a final failure of the examination and invite you to a consultation to discuss why the MFE was not passed and provide targeted assistance on how it could be passed in the next attempt. If you have any questions or problems, you can contact the examination office responsible for you.?

Theme Week & HUMBOLDT-Day of Teaching & Award for Excellent Teaching about "Sustainable Teaching"
With the theme week 'Sustainable Teaching', the HU draws attention to teaching and learning projects that touch on the topic of sustainability in terms of content or didactics and thus impressively illustrate the interaction of nature, society and culture as a challenge of our time.
The theme week starts with the HUMBOLDT Day of Teaching on 3 June 2025 with the presentation of the Humboldt University Award for Excellent Teaching. Another highlight is the Circle U. Climate Day on 5 June 2025, which will be held simultaneously at all nine partner universities.
Over the course of the theme week, numerous events, courses and initiatives aim to educate, raise awareness and promote dialogue about sustainable teaching and encourage discussions about sustainability at the university and during studies.
Stadtradeln 2025: Off we go again!
Instead of travelling by car or public transport, why not get around by bike - the ¡®Stadtradeln¡¯ (City Cycling) campaign raises awareness of this climate-friendly alternative. From 16 May to 5 June, the aim is for all those who only/mainly use a bike and/or are competitively motivated to cycle as many kilometres as possible during these three weeks. Last year, the 789 active cyclists at Humboldt-Universit?t pedalled an impressive 170,231 km. We also owe this success to the strong participation of students as the largest group of Humboldtians. Anyone can take part, whether it be for the climate, their own health, the fun of cycling or to network with their own department and beyond.?
