Modular Synthesis of Electron-deficient Heterocycles

The project represents a sub-project of the NEMO consortium, which aims to research new soluble materials for use in simple, large-area OLED components. Within this sub-project, various heterocycles are to be synthesized, characterized and varied by means of click chemistry, using the click chemistry optimized in terms of their properties to meet the following specifications: reversible reduction at low (absolute) potentials (low LUMO levels), high electron drift mobility, high thermal stability, as well as adjustable processing properties such as solubility as small molecules (SM) or through installation in (side chains) polymers.
