At Humboldt-Universit?t, we attach great importance to high-quality teaching. In open dialogue with all stakeholders, we are constantly improving quality and developing suitable events and offerings. The centrepiece is our mission statement.

Every year, we dedicate the Teaching Week to a current and relevant aspect of studying and teaching. Based on the mission statement for teaching, the focus is on cross-cutting university-wide tasks such as digitalisation, sustainability and equal opportunities. We invite you to workshops, exciting impulses and discussion events.

On the Humboldt Day of Teaching we celebrate excellent teaching at the HU. We invite you to join us in honouring the outstanding commitment of HU teachers. Be inspired by examples of best practice and be there when the prize for good teaching is awarded.

Every year, Humboldt-Universit?t's Award for Good Teaching honours outstanding teachers and teaching concepts nominated by students that have been implemented as part of regular teaching at our university. Changing focal points draw attention to different aspects of good teaching and thus stimulate a comprehensive discussion.

Specific innovation projects set the tone for teaching: the focus of teaching development is reflected in third-party funded projects, international collaborations and HU-specific solutions for social challenges.
