The Long Night of Science offers exciting insights into around 50 scientific institutions. Spectacular hands-on experiments, science shows and laboratory tours make science a tangible experience for almost all age groups.
Every year in November, Berlin Science Week transforms the city into a lively festival of scientific ideas. With over 300 events at two festival hubs and numerous locations, we explore how research shapes our world.
This event conveys research in the Humboldtian ideal. The lectures will take you to foreign worlds and illustrate abstract phenomena. Topics range from neuroscience to climate change.
The public lecture series continues the tradition of Alexander von Humboldt's famous KOSMOS lectures from 1827/28. The new lectures focus on the interactions between the physical world and human behaviour.
