Description

The project conducts a representative survey on beliefs about freedom of will and responsibility. It is essential for brain researchers, philosophers, psychologists and lawyers to have a representative idea as accurate as possible of the everyday understanding of freedom. The aim of this study is to ensure that the theory-based concepts of freedom capture a valid phenomenon and that the scientific discussion about freedom of the will can thus be linked to the everyday understanding of it.
