Hybrid course on Corporate Sustainability Law – up to 10 ECTS

This Circle U. course offered by the University of Oslo introduces Bachelor's and Master's students to the interdisciplinary field of Corporate Sustainability Law, that addresses the regulatory framework intended to promote corporate sustainability.

As a participant, you will learn the importance of globalised business in this crucial decade of action towards the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and how corporate purpose, the governance of business and core duties of the corporate board are regulated today, and how they could be regulated in the future. The course will draw on extensive comparative company law and corporate governance research. Classes will be held at the University of Oslo but can be followed online. Teaching starts on 23 January and the 12th and final session takes place on 6 March.
