18 December is Science Day #4GenderStudies - this day is dedicated to the diversity of gender studies and its scientific significance. A good opportunity to present the podcast #nachgefragt from the Centre for Transdisciplinary Gender Studies. The podcast presents topics and projects related to gender studies. The current episode is about methods and practices of research combined with a review of the conference "How To Do Gender Studies", which took place at the HU in autumn.

What is the current episode about?
Episode 12 is dedicated to the Autumn School "How To Do Gender Studies. Methods and Practices in Gender Studies" for students and doctoral candidates, which took place at the HU from 29 September to 2 October 2025. How is research, analysis and methodological work carried out in Gender Studies? What challenges and opportunities does inter- and transdisciplinary research practice offer? These questions were at the centre of the event. In this episode, Dr Esto Mader from the ZTG, Yannik Ehmer from the Faculty of Theology and Suse Brettin from the Department of Gender and Globalisation at the Institute of Agricultural and Horticultural Sciences talk about the insights they gained in their own research, through preparing the content of the Autumn School and at the conference itself.
