Counselling Services

The Counselling Service supports you in the decision-making process, with study problems and in planning your educational career.

How and why do we advise?

  • Questions about choosing a degree programme & study options
  • Deciding on a degree programme
  • Questions about changing degree programme/subject or university
  • Studying without a high school diploma

In addition to purely factual questions, counselling is often about clarifying your situation, wishes and motives together with you, finding the causes of difficulties, developing possible courses of action and decision-making strategies, or looking for suitable contacts.

Counselling is confidential, personal, without prejudging and free of charge. Those seeking advice and counsellors are not in a relationship of dependency.

Attention: Consultation hours cancelled 28 November 2025
