Corinna Coupette, a member of staff at the Max Planck Institute for Computer Science in Saarbrücken, impressed the selection committee with her impressive interdisciplinary approach. Her dual specialisation in the fields of law and computer science, a rare and challenging combination, as well as her highly regarded publications in both subjects stood out in particular. These form the basis of her ground-breaking research in the field of legal network research, which formulates a major methodological advance in a data-driven approach. Supported by the Caroline von Humboldt-Preis, Corinna Coupette will be "Scientist in Residence" at the Faculty of Law at Humboldt-Universit?t zu Berlin in 2023.

The ceremony was opened by introductory words from the President of Humboldt-Universit?t, Prof Dr Julia von Blumenthal. After the laudatory speech, which was held by Dirk Hartung on behalf of Prof. Dr Boele Woelki, Dr Coupette was presented with the Caroline von Humboldt Award by Prof. Dr Christoph Schneider in his role as Chair of the Cvh Selection Committee. After the award ceremony, a champagne reception was once again held outside the doors of the Senate Hall in honour of the award winners.

The Caroline von Humboldt-Preis 2022 was presented to Dr Corinna Coupette on 16 November 2022 as part of the Caroline von Humboldt Ceremony.
