The successful candidate will, besides contributing to the general teaching and research program of the school, conduct research within the transregional Collaborative Research Center TRR 266 "Accounting for Transparency", funded by the German Research Foundation (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft - DFG). The researchers of TRR 266 investigate the determinants of corporate transparency and its societal consequences. The international research network of TRR 266 commits to the principles of Open Science and provides a perfect environment for junior researchers. Your responsibilities
- scientific service in teaching and research at the Institute of Accounting and Auditing
- participation in the transregional Collaborative Research Center TRR 266 "Accounting for Transparency", funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG)
- tasks for personal scientific qualification (PhD)
What you bring to the table
- completed scientific university education (e. g. Master) in business, economics or a related discipline
- proficient knowledge in the areas of financial accounting and disclosure
- experience in conducting empirical research
- excellent analytical skills
- ability to communicate effortlessly in German and in English (at least B 2)
- you are a team player, have an independent way of thinking and show a high level of commitment
