An-Institutes

Affiliated institutes are legally independent institutions that are closely linked to the university through a co-operation agreement. They expand the academic programmes of a university by conducting research and providing further education in specific subject areas. Humboldt-Universit?t currently co-operates with six affiliated institutes.

Institute for Agricultural and Urban Ecological Projects (IASP)

The Institute for Agro- and Urban Ecological Projects (IASP) forms a bridge between university research and practical application. It realises innovative research and development projects in the fields of agroecology, urban ecology and the food industry. The aim is to ensure that innovative products and processes, which are developed together with customers, are implemented in business, municipal and social practice as quickly as possible. In addition, the IASP offers a wide range of services (e.g. studies, laboratory tests, trials, consultancy). Founded in 1996 as an affiliated institute of the Humboldt-Universit?t zu Berlin, the IASP is legally and economically supported by the non-profit organisation Verein zur F?rderung agrar- und stadt?kologischer Projekte e. V. (A.S.P.).

Institute for Co-operatives (IfG)

The Institute of Cooperatives focuses in particular on the concerns and interests of cooperatives, their members and their associations. Thanks to the collaboration of university lecturers and academics from various disciplines, the Institute has interdisciplinary academic expertise that covers the research areas of economics, social sciences, agricultural sciences and law. Through studies and publications, the Institute repeatedly provides impetus for the development of German cooperatives. In research and teaching, the Institute cooperates closely with other institutes of the Arbeitsgemeinschaft genossenschaftswissenschaftlicher Institute (AGI), with practitioners from cooperatives and their associations and with numerous nationally and internationally recognised academics.

Institute Church and Judaism (IKJ)

The Institute Church and Judaism (IKJ) is an organisation of the Evangelical Church of Berlin-Brandenburg-Silesian Upper Lusatia. Founded in 1960 at the former Kirchliche 金贝棋牌 Berlin (West), it has been an affiliated institute at the Humboldt University since 1994, where it continues the tradition of the old Institutum Judaicum Berolinese. The work of the IKJ focuses on research into the relationship between Christianity and Judaism from late antiquity to the present day, the transfer of research findings to the church and society and the promotion of a scientifically sound and hermeneutically reflected Christian-Jewish dialogue.

Artop

The artop Institute offers consulting, research and training in the fields of organisation, personnel and usability/user experience. At the interface between university and business, artop has both scientific expertise and practical experience. The aim is to promote the exchange of knowledge between research and society. To this end, artop cooperates intensively with companies and organisations, research institutes and university institutions.

Institute for Quality Development in Education (IQB)

The Institute for Quality Development in Education (IQB) is a scientific institute that supports the federal states in quality development and assurance in the general education school system. It has been an affiliated institute since 2004.

Centre Marc Bloch (CMB)

The Centre Marc Bloch (CMB) is an institution sponsored by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the French Ministry of Research and Higher Education / Centre National de Recherche Scientifique (CNRS). Since 2001, it has also been co-financed by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). Since January 2011, the CMB has also been closely linked to the Humboldt-Universit?t zu Berlin as an "affiliated institute" through a cooperation agreement. Background: Shortly after the fall of the Berlin Wall, the German and French governments decided to establish a Franco-German research centre for social sciences that would also be open to other European countries. Founded on 9 October 1992 and officially opened on 8 September 1994, it was named after the French historian Marc Bloch (1886-1944).
