The Presidential Representative drives international academic initiatives to extend the global reach of Humboldt-Universit?t's research and teaching activities. He negotiates agreements with partners, receives high-ranking international delegations and represents Humboldt-Universit?t at comparable institutions worldwide.

Humboldt-Universit?t zu Berlin is part of the European higher education alliance Circle U. Together with eight partner universities, it promotes innovative teaching and research formats as well as mobility - virtually and on site. Whether study programmes, research projects or staff weeks - Circle U. offers many opportunities to help shape European higher education and the team at HU will advise and support you.

From abroad and at Humboldt-Universit?t? The Welcome Centre team is there for you: we can advise you on study options and research stays, support you with your arrival and offer a variety of events in the areas of networking, training and wellbeing. We will also be happy to assist you with the administrative steps involved in transferring to Humboldt-Universit?t.

The Humboldt International Campus (HIC) brings international short-term programmes under one roof. A variety of formats enable students from all over the world to study or do an internship in Berlin - from a two-week summer course, a three-month research project or intensive language courses to a four-month interdisciplinary study programme or internship in politics.

Whether you want to go abroad to study, for an internship, a teaching or research stay or for further training: The Global Mobility team is your partner. We manage the Erasmus+ programme as well as exchanges via direct partnerships with universities all over the world and support the faculties of Humboldt-Universit?t in international collaborations.

Humboldt-Universit?t maintains and develops strategic partnerships and networks in Europe and around the world. The staff of the Department of Academic Cooperation support the initiation of collaborations with our strategic partner universities, offer assistance with contract management and provide advice on how to deal with sensitive collaborations.
