ERC Grants

The European Commission funds excellent cutting-edge research as part of the European Research Council (ERC) programme. With the Starting Grant, Consolidator Grant and Advanced Grant programmes, it awards highly endowed funding for researchers at various career stages.

ERC Starting Grant

With the Starting Grant, the ERC supports innovative researchers at early career stages. As a rule, up to 1.5 million euros are available for this purpose. The funding period is five years.
