ERC Synergy Grants

An ERC Synergy Grant supports interdisciplinary research teams that work together on particularly innovative projects. The funding amount is 10 million euros and the funding period is six years.

Prof Dr Arno Rauschenbeutel receives ERC Synergy Grant. His research topic is "SuperWave: Superatom Waveguide Quantum Electrodynamics" at the Department of Physics.

Prof Dr Peter Hegemann receives the ERC Synergy Grant. He is conducting research in the project "SOL: Switchable rhodOpsins in Life Sciences" at the Department of Biology.

Artemis Alexiadou is researching the topic "LeibnizDream - Realising Leibniz's Dream: Child Languages as a Mirror of the Mind" at the Department of English and American Studies. She has now been awarded the ERC Synergy Grant.
