Tasks of the staff unit
With the focal points and projects of the bologna.lab, Humboldt-Universit?t intends to provide impetus throughout the university and contribute to quality development in teaching. This is linked to the overarching goals of sharpening the profile of good teaching and raising its status at the university.
To this end, the bologna.lab develops and promotes innovative formats that enable all those involved in teaching at HU to participate, create scope for testing teaching innovations and contribute to demand-orientated study design.
The bologna.lab offers students and teaching staff a wide range of opportunities for participation. On the one hand, students and lecturers are invited to actively participate in the development and testing of innovative teaching and learning formats in the focal areas. On the other hand, bologna.lab offers workshops, counselling and support to take up innovative formats and transfer them in an adapted form to their own teaching.
The bologna.lab promotes exchange and freedom with a focus on
- Research-based, student-centred and digital/hybrid learning
bologna.lab supports various teaching and learning formats that open up independent approaches to research for students and offer them self-determined, research-oriented study. - Internationalisation / interdisciplinarity
In cooperation with the Circle U. Network of the HU, the bologna.lab supports innovative and interdisciplinary teaching and learning formats in an international context. - Teaching development
The bologna.lab supports the visibility of teaching at the HU.
